With much commercial work and my first love,
weddings, it's been a busy couple of months...
Some work for Universal Magazines ("Luxury Kitchens
& Bathrooms", and more):
Ray White Real Estate - business
cards and other corporate photography:
...and of course a couple of weddings...
Congratulations Gail & Antonio! How cool was it
that uncle Ken made a surprise visit from overseas?!?!
My best wishes also to Suzie and Ian! I can't wait to
see what we do with your album!...I wish you all the
best in Melbourne!
Julee and John...what can I say...? Thanks for a
wonderful, wonderful day! I wish you all the best!!
...I'll have to borrow Guinness' dog-tuxedo - for my
big day. With a little alteration, it should fit a Jack
Russell, don't you think?

Well, another wonderful wedding... This time,
Josiane and Charlie (you might remember their
engagement party (below). It was a gruelling 18 hour
day - but well worth the results!!! I still can't
believe that we managed to conquer the "Tour Down
Under" traffic and barriers!

Teringie is a wonderful part of Adelaide that I
never had the chance to explore until today. This house
is available for sale. If only wedding
photography was more profitable... I'd be quite
happy working from home in a "house of the week" like this!...

Another glorious wedding. Lena and Jason certainly
had it all...20 visitors from overseas, including some
that Lena had never met before. It was a very emotional
walk down the aisle...Even I got caught up in it -
Thank goodness for auto-focus!

An engagement shoot with a twist... I was asked to
photograph the surprise proposal! Zoë didn't know what
hit her. After Doug popped the question (to which Zoë
replies "YES!", of course, we continued through the
Himeji Gardens for a few more photographs of the happy
couple! Congratulations, guys - All The Best!!!

Thanks to The Apothecary in Hindley Street for
allowing me to use their venue for a photoshoot
recently. In thanks, I provided some images of their
rooms, to help update their advertising.

Congratulations Davina & Joe! I have never seen
such a relaxed and laid back family on their wedding
day. You sure made it a pleasure to spend the day with
you. All the best in the UK!

Well, I've been quite busy recently with a great
diversity of work. It's wonderful to get some variety
every now and then, as it forces me into new ways of
approaching my work. This then flows back into my more
"familiar" work, allowing me to provide more creative
and fresh results for my clients. I love it!
Recently I've had the opportunity to do some work in
animal portraiture, formal functions and real estate...

What a night! An engagement party/ceremony (the
blessing of the rings). Ah, the food, the music... As
difficult as I found it to pull myself from the
incredible food and drink on offer (I must have gained
4kg!), I managed to pull of some tough images and had a
great time in the process. Thank you so much to
everyone there! You made it a genuine joy to be a part
of your evening!
Congratulations Josiane and Charlie!!!

downloadable pdf.

Well, another great day. This time re-shooting Mario's
Ducati 999s. With a recent tune-up and minor
modifications, it's now as good as, if not better than
new. It was great to see the smile on his face when he
turned the engine. What a machine!

A quick shoot to help Ella with her modeling
portfolio. A beautiful bride, but no groom...

My third week in a row of motorbike shoots. Yesterday
it was a Harley Davidson Fat Boy - 100 Year Anniversary
Special. Thanks again to Mario for digging this one up
for me - and thanks to Shane for brining it along!

Well, I've finally managed to find the time to add a
blog to the site. I don't really have a particular goal
in mind with this page, except to perhaps give credit
to those who may not otherwise receive a mention.
Doing what I am passionate about, while providing
people with a great product, is terribly rewarding -
and I appreciate that everyone that I encounter in the
process, be it on a shoot, during post-processing and
even when I pick up prints from the lab, all contribute
to my growth as a person, and add to my experience as a
photographer. So thank you to everyone for the part you
play in my photographic career.

...As it turns out, one of Mario's friends who
helped last weekend, Michael, owns a 2005 Yamaha R6 -
Rossi Special. As he was so kind in helping out on the
day, I offered to shoot his bike the following week,
free of charge. It was certainly a bike worth shooting.
Akin to the previous week, we ended up with a total of
six people at the shoot. I couldn't resist a group shot
for the guys (yes, I just wanted to capture those
bikes!)

Sunday, 18th March 2007
Well, today I photographed Mario's Ducati 999s. What
a beautiful machine.
Although we encountered some technical problems with
the bike, a comedy of errors turned what was supposed
to have been a quiet shoot between Mario and myself,
into an old reunion of friends in the city, over a few
drinks. Not a bad way to end a shoot.
Thanks for a great afternoon, Mario!
